Two events for me this coming weekend.
Saturday morning is the BrisStyle Indie Market, which is happening in the newly renovated City Hall in Brisbane’s King George Square. I’ll be selling the usual art prints, brooches, plates and tea sets.
Saturday evening is the Brisbane Collective Pop Up Exhibition at VIA studios in Bowen Hills (right new the train station). I have a canvas piece and some large plates on exhibition for the night. The exhibitions organisers do really well to create a fun, relaxing night by proving live music and games rooms (board games, vintage arcade games) for the night.
After these events I’ll be having a little market break until late July to work on some new products for Greazefest. Things I’m working on are: fabric patches, ear plugs, stickers, more wooden brooches, necklaces, pin badges, and of course, more art prints.
